Enterprise Discovery

Discover the compute you already own

Before buying more infrastructure, understand the compute already inside your organization.

Elysium Enterprise Discovery gives organizations a centralized way to identify, organize, and prepare existing enterprise devices for eDOS™ and Private Compute Plane deployment.

Connect approved enterprise directory and inventory sources to discover supported desktops, laptops, workstations, and other compute resources across your organization. Review device inventory, select eligible machines or organizational groups, assign Private Compute Planes and Node Pools, and prepare managed Node Service deployment from the Elysium Enterprise Console.

Capabilities

From enterprise inventory to activated compute

Enterprise Discovery provides the first step toward a unified compute platform.

Enterprise Fleet Discovery

Identify candidate desktops, laptops, workstations, and supported enterprise devices across approved directory and inventory sources.

Read-Only Directory Discovery

Discover computer objects and approved device metadata without requiring unrestricted directory administration for discovery workflows.

Intelligent Fleet Filtering

Search and filter devices by organizational structure, operating system, activity, deployment state, and compute assignment.

Private Plane Assignment

Organize selected devices around departments, workloads, security requirements, and infrastructure boundaries before activation.

Managed Node Deployment

Prepare controlled eDOS™ Node Service enrollment for enterprise deployment workflows, including silent MSI installation.

Device-to-Node Linking

Track discovered machines as they install the Node Service, register with the Control Plane, and become persistent eDOS™ compute nodes.

Live Compute Validation

Once enrolled, the Node Service reports actual hardware, utilization, runtime, and node-health telemetry—turning static inventory into live compute intelligence.

Deployment Visibility

Monitor the complete activation lifecycle from discovered device to selected machine, deployed agent, registered node, and compute-ready resource.

Compute Visibility

Turn enterprise inventory into compute visibility

Enterprise compute is often distributed across offices, departments, labs, remote environments, and business units.

Thousands of devices may contain CPU, GPU, memory, and future AI accelerator capacity—but infrastructure teams typically do not manage those resources as a unified compute platform.

Enterprise Discovery identifies candidate machines before they become active Elysium nodes.

Find the fleet. Organize the fleet. Activate compute intentionally.

Directory Discovery

Active Directory Discovery

Discover enterprise machines through the directory you already manage.

Connect Enterprise Discovery to an approved read-only Active Directory source to identify computer objects across your organization.

Discovery can surface information such as:

  • Computer name
  • DNS hostname
  • Domain
  • Organizational Unit
  • Operating system
  • Operating system version
  • Directory-enabled status
  • Last directory logon
  • Device record status
  • Discovery source
  • Agent installation status

Administrators can browse machines across departments and organizational structures without manually entering every device.

Security by Design

Read-only discovery by design

Discover devices without giving Elysium unrestricted directory control.

Enterprise Discovery is designed around read-only directory access for discovery workflows. The discovery service can read approved computer-object metadata without requiring Elysium to modify Active Directory objects.

For Active Directory discovery, the architecture should be designed so organizations do not need to provide Domain Administrator privileges simply to identify candidate machines.

Security point

Discover enterprise compute without turning your compute platform into a directory administrator.

Fleet Management

Search and filter your enterprise fleet

Find the machines that fit your compute strategy.

Administrators can search and filter discovered resources using enterprise inventory attributes.

  • Enabled or disabled status
  • Recent directory activity
  • Node Service installation status
  • Private Compute Plane assignment
  • Node Pool assignment
  • Deployment selection

Move from thousands of unmanaged device records to a targeted compute deployment strategy.

Discovered machines can be selected and assigned to an intended Private Compute Plane.

Administrators can prepare machines for deployment based on:

  • Department
  • Business unit
  • Location
  • Security requirement
  • Workload type
  • Infrastructure ownership
  • Data boundary
  • Compute purpose

Build compute environments around the way your organization already operates.

Compute Roles

Node Pool assignment

Organize devices by the compute role they will perform.

Before or during deployment, administrators can assign selected machines to eDOS™ Node Pools.

PC CPU
PC GPU
AI Accelerators
High-Trust Compute
Research GPU
After-Hours Compute
Restricted Workloads
Edge Compute

This helps eDOS™ understand the intended compute role of enrolled devices. Once the Node Service reports actual hardware and runtime telemetry, the Control Plane can validate and update the node's capabilities.

Directory data identifies the machine. eDOS™ determines what the machine can actually do.
Deployment

Managed Node Deployment

Move from discovered device to active compute node.

After administrators select machines, Enterprise Discovery prepares them for managed eDOS™ Node Service deployment.

Deployment workflows can support enterprise software-management systems and administrative tools such as:

  • Group Policy
  • Microsoft Intune
  • Microsoft Configuration Manager
  • PowerShell
  • Enterprise software deployment platforms
  • Silent MSI installation

The Elysium Enterprise Console can generate the deployment configuration required to enroll devices into the correct organization, Private Compute Plane, and Node Pool.

Traceability

Automatic device-to-node linking

Know which discovered machine became which compute node.

When the Elysium Node Service is installed and successfully registers with the Control Plane, Enterprise Discovery can associate the discovered machine record with its persistent Elysium Node ID.

After registration, administrators can see:

  • Discovery status
  • Agent installation status
  • Node registration status
  • Persistent Node ID
  • Private Compute Plane
  • Node Pool
  • Service status
  • Last heartbeat

Track the complete journey from discovered machine to active compute resource.

Live Telemetry

Live capacity validation

Discovery finds devices. The Node Service measures compute.

Enterprise Discovery does not rely on directory records to estimate real-time compute capacity. Once a machine joins eDOS™, the Elysium Node Service reports live node information to the Control Plane.

  • CPU capacity and utilization
  • GPU availability and utilization
  • Memory capacity
  • Available memory
  • Runtime availability
  • Service status
  • Agent version
  • Power state
  • Thermal state
  • Active task count
  • Node Trust Score
Move from static device inventory to live compute intelligence.

This allows eDOS™ to build a real operational view of available enterprise compute.

For sovereign environments, discovery and enrollment can remain within the organization's controlled infrastructure.

External discovery services do not need to become the source of truth for the customer's machine inventory.

Organizations determine:

  • Which directory sources are connected
  • Which machines are discovered
  • Which machines are selected
  • Which Private Plane receives them
  • Which Node Pool they join
  • Which deployment process is used
  • Which compute policies apply after enrollment

Your directory. Your devices. Your deployment boundaries.
